an interesting plugin that gets very good results in World Driver Championship, but is in fact a LLE RSP plugin pretending to be HLE, using code from HatCat's RSP without permission and without releasing source. Azimer's is under development, and works very well (better than Jabo for some games), but has some problems that are being ironed out. It sounds like Azimer's has somewhat recently claimed the best?Ĭurrently PJ64's audio is a mess. I haven't noticed anything off with Jabo's DirectSound, the default audio plugin, but apparently Azimer's or Shunyuan's are better. Make sure you get an up to date version from EmuTalk. It's an excellent plugin with insane system requirements, especially for "problematic" titles. HatCat's Pixel-Accurate sounds like the most accurate. The version of Glide64 that comes with PJ64 is considered pretty much the baseline. Despite some excellent features (and also some very impressive accuracy improvements over other hardware accelerated plugins), it's very buggy and also has some astoundingly bad performance issues, particularly in games that have high resolution modes. It seems like GlideN64 is the best overall GFX plugin atm
